Our Mission

The mission of Whole Wellness is to provided the highest quality of mental and behavioral health services for adolescents and young adults while training therapists as compassionate, skilled clinicians adept at joining clients on their individual journey to health in mind, body and spirit.

Our Story

Whole Wellness was founded by two clinical social workers who came to the same conclusion about the well-publicized mental health crisis facing our country's adolescents. With combined decades of work in substance abuse recovery centers, residential programs, community mental health services and school-based mental health, we understood that young people need compassion and discretion in order to heal and achieve wellness. We also noted a need to for more therapists skilled in treating and supporting the needs of this population.

Our goal became to meet the needs of adolescents in New Jersey while providing training and supervision to newer therapists motivated to make a difference. As a group we have a deep understanding of multiple frameworks and the often complex needs of today's adolescent.

Whole Wellness is the manifestation of a combined vision for what psychotherapy can be: sound, empathetic, evidence-based and focused on the whole person in mind, body and spirit. Welcome to Whole Wellness.

Chief Executive Officer

With my non-judgmental approach my only goal is to help you meet your own personal goals, to achieve your own vision of fulfillment; whatever that may look like.

My counseling technique can be described as affirming & compassionate. Trained in several clinical modalities, my practice style is eclectic; incorporating pieces of DBT and CBT as well as Motivational Interviewing. Ultimately my goal is to provide cognitive-analysis to assist you in understanding your subconscious motives to better move you towards success.

Being part of these communities myself, coupled with my education and experience I know first hand how hard these issues truly are and have lived through many myself. I understand these are often difficult topics to even discuss. My goal is to create a safe and comfortable space.

&

Executive Assistant to the CEO

A proud mother of two, I have a deep understanding and appreciation for mental health and its importance. It affects us all, and there is no shame in seeking guidance- to care for yourself is to love yourself.

Having previously worked in the field of health insurance for over two decades, I noticed through that time countless issues of needless red-tape and rules or regulations that ultimately just got in the way of people getting care. All in the name of cost-saving.

I joined this practice because it aligns with my passions and morals. Knowing how to better navigate the insurance world with my experience helps too! Knowing I am working to actually help people, rather than to save money, is the most satisfying piece of all, though.
